Colin Maclay specializes in the interaction of innovation and change with media, technology, and culture. A hacker of universities and committed collaborator, Colin bridges scholarship, practice, disciplines, and sectors. He has worked globally on topics including democracy, sustainability, entrepreneurship, and learning. As research professor of communication at USC, he directs the Annenberg Innovation Lab, Civic Media Fellowship, Presidential Sustainability Solutions Fellowship, Arts & Climate Collective, and Media As Socio-Technical Systems (MASTS). Colin founded Harvard Business School’s Digital Initiative, managed Harvard’s Berkman Klein Center for Internet & Society, and cofounded the Global Network Initiative.
