Jennifer S. Roberts (she/her) is an interdisciplinary facilitator, artist, and social designer whose work over the last twenty years has been based in cocreation and design. Whether through coaching and consulting or hackathons and dream spaces, she aims to design immersive experiences that allow people to reimagine and redesign our communities for liberation. Her academic and artistic work taps into Afrofuturistic explorations designed by Black communities, particularly Black women. She is the cofounder of Building Utopia Deck, an Afrofuturism-based design toolkit, and the founder and executive director of Colored Girls Liberation Lab, an intergenerational healing and dream lab that aims to be a brave and protected space for Black women and femme-identifying people to design their most liberated lives in community. Jenn is a very proud graduate of Spelman College and lives in the DC area with her spunky and creative daughter.
